Unravel The Hot US Controversy In The Upcoming Series On This OTT!

Voot Select is about to bring to you a brand new gripping drama ‘The Comey Rule’, revealing the untold and unknown about US elections and the politics behind it. The show will be streaming on Voot Select in India in collaboration with Showtime from 27th September, 2020.

Based on James Comey’s no. 1 New York Times best-selling book ‘A Higher Loyalty’ and additional interviews over an year, The Comey Rule is an “immerse, behind-the-headline account of historically turbulent events surrounding the 2016 US presidential elections and its aftermath, which divided a nation.”

The two part event series stars Emmy winners Jeff Daniels (playing former FBI director James Comey) and Brendan Gleeson (playing Donald J. Trump). The series is not a biopic but follows two powerful men, Comey and Trump, who have strikingly different personalities, ethics and loyalties that puts them on a collision course.

According to Showtime, “Part one follows the investigation into Hillary Clinton’s emails and their impact on the election. Part two is an account of first months of the Trump presidency – where allies became enemies, enemies became friends and truth depended on what side you were on.”
