Haryana Judicial Services Mains Exam 2022: The Supreme Court has stayed the Haryana Judicial Services Mains exam to be held from 20 to 22 May 2022. Let us tell you that the date of examination of Madhya Pradesh Judicial Service is also on 6th May. In such a situation, a demand was made from the Supreme Court to postpone the exam, citing the conflict in dates. The court will hold the next hearing on May 9. Meanwhile, the Punjab-Haryana High Court asked the lawyer to take instructions and tell on which date the examination can be held next. The Supreme Court has adjourned the matter till May 9. Also asked the Punjab and Haryana High Court to either inform the rescheduled dates or assist the court in fixing the dates. The examinations are conducted by the Haryana Public Service Commission (HPSC) and supervised by a selection committee headed by a High Court judge.
40 candidates had filed petition
The order was passed in a writ petition filed by 40 candidates who had applied for both the Haryana and Madhya Pradesh examinations, seeking postponement of the examination.
The petitioners pointed out that the Haryana exam was originally scheduled from April 22 to April 24, however it was postponed to May 6-8.
The Haryana Judicial Service Mains examinations were scheduled to be held from April 22 to 24. However, the dates were changed to May 6-8 to avoid any clash with the Delhi Judicial Service (DJS) Preliminary Examination. Those candidates who get selected in the pre-exam have to fill out the separate form again for the main exam.
The dates for the Mains exam have been announced on the official website of the commission- hpsc.gov.in. Pre-qualified candidates will appear for Mains and after Mains, there will be an interview. The selection of the candidates clearing all the stages will be final.
