Amarnath Yatra Information In Hindi There is no dearth of wonders in India, even today there are many such secrets which have not been disclosed till date, the reason for which no one has been able to know till date. One of these is the Shivling of Amarnath, whose information has been given to you in Amarnath Yatra Details in Hindi. This pilgrimage site is located at a distance of about 135 meters from Kashmir, the length of the cave present in Amarnath is 19 meters, width 16 meters and height is 11 meters.
Amarnath is one of the main places of Lord Shiva. The main thing here is that the Shivlig present here is made by itself. Being self-made, it is also called Swayambhu Himani Shivling. Darshan of this Shivling is received from Ashadha Purnima to Raksha Bandhan. It is said that as the moon increases, the size of this Shivling also decreases. The special thing about this Shivling is that this Shivling is made of solid ice whereas the other ice present in the cave where this Shivling is situated is in the form of snowflakes. Just as there is a Shivling of Lord Shiva, in the same way, at some distance in the same cave, solid lingas of Lord Ganesha, Parvati ji and Bhairav Baba are also formed.
In the Amarnath cave, Shiva had told Mother Parvati the secret of immortality and upon hearing this story, Shuk Shishu Sanghojat became immortal in the form of Shukdev Rishi. When Shiva was narrating this story to Mother Parvati, at the same time a pair of pigeons was also present in that cave, due to hearing this story, that pair of pigeons also became immortal. Even today, some fortunate devotees have a vision of this pair of pigeons and it is also believed that whoever has a vision of this pair of pigeons, Shiva Parvati herself gratifies him by providing her darshan.
In this cave, Shiva had described all the places coming in the Amarnath Yatra in the story to Mother Parvati, this story is currently popular by the name Amar Katha. It is said that when Lord Shiva was taking Mata Parvati to listen to the story, he left small snakes on Anant Nag, Chandan of the skull in Chandanbadi, Pissuo on the flea top and Sheshnag on Sheshnag. This place still comes in the way during the Amarnath Yatra.
This cave was first seen by a Muslim shepherd, even today a part of the offering received from Amarnath is given to the family of that Muslim shepherd. On the way to this Amarnath cave, if one goes further on the banks of river Amaravati, then many more caves are seen but all those caves are covered with snow.

Beginning of Amarnath Yatra:
There are two options available for the Amarnath Yatra, the first way goes from Pahalgam and the second from Sonmarg Baltal. The way to Pahalgam is easier than Baltal, so the government also suggests the visitors to go through this route. Because the road from Baltal is very difficult, the people going from here have to face many problems and there is a lot of risk in this path, so the government does not take the responsibility of those who go through this route.
Amarnath Yatra from Pahalgam:
Pahalgam is located at a distance of 315 kms from Jammu. Passengers can reach Jammu by bus train or road by any way and government tourism buses are available from Jammu to Pahalgam. Pahalgam is the only place from where the travelers start their journey on foot. Like other pilgrimage places in Amarnath Yatra, there is no facility of horse, palanquin for the pedestrians, but still there is a means for the old people. After starting the journey from Pahalgam, the first stop at a distance of eight kilometers comes Chandanbari, this is the place where the travelers spend their first night, camps are set up here to stay the night.
After resting at Chandanbari, the travelers start climbing the Pissa Valley on the second day, although this climb of the first phase was not very difficult, but as soon as the second stop on the Plea Valley starts, the risky path also starts. It is said that there was a war between the gods and the demons at Pissa Ghati, in which the demons were defeated. Travelers reach Sheshnag after walking 14 kms through this Pissa valley. This is the beautiful lake of blue water on Sheshnag, on seeing this lake, travelers get the illusion of being a cloud, its length is about 1.5 kilometers. It is said that even today Sheshnag lives in this lake and once in 24 hours this snake comes out and the lucky ones get darshan of it. This is the stop where the travelers spend their next night.
The journey of the third day starts from here, after walking about 8 mills, Panchtarni comes, in this way one has to cross Bivawell Top and Mahagunas Pass. After reaching the Mahagunas, the whole path is of descent, here 5 streams flow, that is why it was named Panchtarni. The weather here is relatively cold and the travelers here feel the lack of oxygen.
The cave of Amarnath remains only 8 kilometers from here, but snow remains frozen on all the way from here, after starting the journey from here, the traveler reaches the Amarnath cave the next day, if the traveler wants to take a night’s rest here and take a bath the next day, the pilgrim can see. Although this journey is very difficult, but as soon as Shiva has a darshan, all the tiredness goes away. And after the darshan, the passengers start their journey for the return journey, on the first day of the return, the passengers can travel till Sheshnag. Similarly, travelers are able to complete their journey easily.
